Well a new season of camping is once again upon us.

At the AGM Keith Richardson and Terry and Sandra Belton stood down so thanks them for all their efforts over many years. I am pleased to say we had two new members join the committee and I was voted chairman for the fourth year.

Our Dinner Dance was held at Walton Hotel Clevedon and enjoyed by all.

We have some new sites for 2019 and all are listed on both this website and also on Facebook, so please check this out and join us as often as you can.

Talking of Facebook search Avon (Bristol) D.A. and join us, it is the fastest way for us to disseminate information especially if the status of an up and coming meet has to be altered for whatever reason.

On Saturday 30^th March we have a joint members meeting at Sharpness Village Hall (starts at 2 pm) with our friends at Gloucester DA to discuss the proposed merger of the two DA’s. Even if you can’t camp at Sharpness Dockers Club that weekend please join us for the members meeting and have your say.

If you have any questions for your committee beit information on DA or social camping, queries on lasting a weekend without electric, but still keeping the kids happy with their tablets or phones feel free to contact us and we will be more than happy to help
